| How do I add copper peptides to my current routine? | | When applying or layering any skin care product, apply in the following order to ensure good penetration of your active ingredients.
- serums
- gels
- biological oils
- creams
- sun screen
| | What can I expect? | | Typically most begin to see changes in their skin in 30 days. The skin tone begins to even out, increased collagen and elastin begin to show, the skin better retains moisture, etc.
Studies show in 8 weeks:
89% positive improving skin texture
57% reduction in skin blotchiness
60% decrease in fine lines
How fast the skin responds depends on many variables. To name a few:
- Age, the older we get the longer it takes
- Extent of existing damage
- Your skin care routine. Improper application order will most definitely either slow the process or make your routine ineffective.
- Diet and nutrition
| | How can I speed up the skin renewal process? | | How are products ranked in terms of their strengths? | | From the least to the highest percentage of copper peptide:
CP Night Eyes Primer
CP Night Eyes
Protect & Restore creams
CP Serum = TriReduction creams
Super CP Serum = Super COP
| | Why aren't I seeing any changes in my skin? | | There are a couple of reasons you might not be seeing changes in you skin. Skin remodeling is a process, not over night magic. It takes time. Most often good cosmetic results are noted by individuals around 4 - 6 months. The order in which you apply products is critical to that product being able to penetrate your skin to do what it needs to do. Examine the order in which in your apply your products.
It is very difficult for most to recall what the skin actually looked like 30 days ago. Which is the reason cosmetic surgeons and derms take the before and after pictures. Begin to take close up progress pictures every 30 - 60 days. When you compare your pictures you will see the changes.
If you are working with serums because they are lipid free they do not readily penetrate the skin. Adding a biological oil will literally "push" serums into the skin. |
Serums
| |
| How do I start using copper peptide serums? | | Start with 2 drops for the entire facial area. If that amount is difficult to achieve good coverage, then simply add a couple of drops of water to the palm of your hand, 2 drops of serums, mix then apply.
Work with that amount for about 5 days. You want to go slow so as not to get a reaction from too much applied product penetrating initially.
If you have excess in your hand, apply to the neck and décolletage (chest). | | I am on my 5th day, no reaction, now what? | | Begin to increase the copper peptides gradually. Work with that amount for another 5 days. If no reaction, again increase the applied amount. | | I am new to copper peptides, should I start with the Super CP Serum? I want results fast. | | No...do not start with Super CP Serum, it is usually too strong to start out with.
You cannot necessarily hasten the process by going to stronger copper peptides. In fact, it will probably slow the process. If your skin reacts unfavorably you will have to let you skin rest before you can resume.
Copper peptides work beneath the skin surface, the process of skin remodeling takes time. Most report good results within 30 days. Others take longer for good cosmetic results. | | Can I use the copper peptide serums 2 times a day? | | Yes, gradually work up to applying copper peptide serums twice daily.
If you working with Exfol or other exfoliant that works best with low pH, then allow at least 30 minutes before applying your copper peptide serum. | | When I apply my CP Serum it balls/rolls on the skin. What causes this? | | This is typically caused because the serum cannot penetrate the skin. There is something else on your skin, oil or wax, that causes the serum to lay on top and not penetrate.
Remedy:
Apply a warm wet wash rag to the skin a few times to attempt to remove the oil or wax.
Your cleanser should remove those oils and waxes from the surface of the skin. |
