"Wash" refers to the consistency of this product, meaning it is more of a watery solution rather than a gel type product. "Wash" should not be confused with cleansing.

Proven effective for deep cleansing and exfoliation, Glycolic, because of it's smaller molecule, penetrates deep within the layers of the skin to loosen and remove the outer layers of thickened, damaged skin. For all skin types

Directions Use in the evening after cleansing. Saturate gauze pad with Glycolic Acid Exfoliator, you can use a very gentle buffing action on the skin. Rinse with cool water to neutralize. For deeper exfoliation follow with 15% Fruit Acid Gel.

For all skin types.

A gauze pad or fan brush will be your best applicator as neither of these will waste the glycolic as will a cotton ball or square.
